Abstract: Heart Failure with preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF) may be a challenging diagnosis and has a limited medical treatment available. We describe a case of HFpEF requiring diastolic stress assessment as confirmatory test and creation of a restrictive interatrial communication as palliative therapy.
