Use of Google Analytics

Kind and purpose of processing:

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Park-way, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (referred to hereinafter as „Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies“, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and that make it possible to analyze your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of this website will usually be transmitted to a server of Google in the US and stored there. Since the IP anonymization is activated on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google prior to it within the member states of the European Union or in the other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will be transmitted to a server of Google in the US in exceptional cases only and shortened there. Google will, on behalf of this web-site’s operator, use this information to evaluate your usage of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to perform further services associated with the usage of the web-site and the Internet as a whole on behalf of the website operator. The IP-address transmitted from your browser to Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data collected by Google.

Data processing is aimed at evaluating the usage of the website and at compiling reports about ac-tivities on the website. Further associated services are then supposed to be rendered on the basis of the usage of the website and the Internet.

Revocation of the permission:

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we like to point out that you may not be able in such cases to use all functions on this website to their full extent. Apart from that, you can also prevent the collection of the data that have been gener-ated by the cookie and that are related to your usage of this website (including your IP address), their transmission to Google and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and in-stalling the following browser plug-in which is available under the following link: browser Add On zur Deaktivierung von Google Analytics.

Profiling:

The behavior of the website visitors can be evaluated with the help of the tracking tool Google Analytics and their interests can be analyzed. In order to do so, we generate a pseudonymous user profile.

Kind and purpose of the processing:

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. Operator of the relevant plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (referred to hereinafter as „YouTube“). When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, a connection with the servers of YouTube will be established and YouTube will be informed which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can allocate your surfing behavior personally to you. You can prevent this by log-ging out of your YouTube account prior to it.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider will set cookies that collect information about the user behavior.

You will find further information about the purpose and scope of the data collection and the pro-cessing of these data by YouTube in the data protection statements of the provider, where you can also obtain further information about your rights in this respect as well as the setting options to protect your privacy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Google will process your data in the US and has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

Legal basis:

The legal basis for embedding YouTube and the data transfer to Google associated with it is your permission (Article 6, sub-section 1 a, GDPR).

Recipient:

When calling YouTube, a connection with Google will be automatically established.

Storage period and revocation of the permission:

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google-Ad program, you need not expect cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube will also store non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you like to prevent this, you will have to block the storage of cook-ies in the browser.

You will find further data protection information in connection with „YouTube“ in the provider’s data protection statement under: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Google will process your data in the US and has subjected itself to the EU_US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
